We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to come and join the Finance Team to help support the busy and exciting Estates Team.  

The main purpose of the Finance Assistant is to be responsible for the day to day management of financial transactions within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, specifically on Accounts Payable for the estates team. Ensuring that Purchase Orders are raised, matched to invoices and paid promptly. Also to support the Finance Analyst, Senior Finance Officer and the Estates team to ensure the proper administration and recording of spend and income. 

  • Full time/Part time position (30 – 37 hours per week over 4/5 days)
  • Permanent 

The closing date for this post is 12 noon on Monday 27th May 2024. 

As part of the interview process there will be a short exercise using Excel 

We are offering flexible working with a minimum contract of 30 hours (pro rata / maximum 37 hours).
 
This is a challenging and dynamic new post that has been created within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC).
