The main purpose of the Senior Business Support Officer is to ensure the co-ordination, development, prioritisation, supervision, and delivery of the office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) administrative and business support functions, delivering efficient and consistent support services to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), Deputy PCC, and the senior team.  

To ensure effective day-to-day management of the PCC’s casework function, to deliver consistently excellent service to the public and other correspondents and to lead by example, develop teams and embed a culture of continuous service improvement. 

  • The Senior Business Support Officer role is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3 days office based.
