Response

Please see the below response to your request.

  1. The Name/Title/Scope of the commissioned programme in your area.
Herefordshire and Worcestershire DRIVE – Cranstoun
DRIVE works with high-harm, high-risk and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse to prevent their abusive behaviour and protect victims.
Drive implements a whole-system approach using an intensive case management approach alongside a coordinated multi-agency response. It works closely with the police, probation, victim services, children social services, housing, substance misuse and mental health teams. It focuses on increasing victim safety by combining disruption and behaviour change interventions alongside the crucial protective work of victims’ services (DRIVE 2022).
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Men and Masculinities (M&M) – Cranstoun
The Men & Masculinities programme is a programme that provides a safe space for people who have engaged in abusive, harmful and damaging behaviour within their relationships. The programme explores what it means to display appropriate behaviour within relationships and highlights how conflict, aggression and anger can deeply impact the lives of others (Cranstoun 2023).
Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin My Time – Richmond Fellowship
The My Time Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programme is a structured group work intervention designed to work with those perpetrating abuse within their intimate relationships. The aim of the programme is to support those perpetrating abuse to address their behaviours, and encourage positive behaviour and attitudinal change, with the view to reducing the risk of harm to the victim, whether this be a current or past partner, and any children (Richmond Fellowship 2023).
