Request

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to exercise my right under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request access to
certain information held by your department/agency.
I kindly request the following information:

  1. Can you confirm what plans you have to close Oswestry Police station in Park Street, Oswestry.
  2. I would like the person responding to this request to be a person with the necessary knowledge
    and authority, and for future reference can you provide the person’s name.

I would prefer to receive the requested information in electronic format via email. If this is not possible, please inform me of the available options for obtaining the information.

I understand that under the Freedom of Information Act 2999, you are required to respond to me request promptly and within a maximum of 20 working days. If for any reason you anticipate a delay in providing the requested information, please inform me in writing with an explanation and an estimated timeframe for completion.

If my request is denied, please provide a written explanation, citing the specific legal basis or exemption under which the requested information is withheld.

I kindly request that you acknowledge receipt of this letter and provide a reference number for future correspondence.

Please see the below response to your request.

  1. There are no plans to close Oswestry Police station. If this position should change in the future,
    then the public will be made aware.
  2. This response has been produced by myself the Senior Estates Surveyor for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia Police. Your Freedom of Information request was passed to me for a response as my professional responsibilities concern the matters to which
    it refers.

Complaints

If you think that the Police and Crime Commissioner has failed to supply information in accordance with the publication scheme, then you should write in the first instance, to the:

The PCC will aim to deal with your complaint within 10 working days. If you are dissatisfied with the response you can ask for the matter to be internally reviewed. Internal reviews will be completed promptly and a response given to you within 20 working days of your further
