Championing communities’ views on policing in West Mercia, Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion and his team will be attending summer events across the three counties to hear from the public about their concerns and local issues.

As the voice of the public in policing, this will be a brilliant opportunity for residents to speak to the PCC and be part of the community conversation, having their say on West Mercia Police.

The event programme for this year is as follows:

Hanbury Show – 1st July

Oswestry Food and Drink Festival – 8th July

Bromsgrove Carnival – 16th July

Wellington Green Festival – 5th August

Herefordshire Food Festival – 2nd September

Visitors to the PCC’s stall will also get the chance to hear more about the work the PCC is leading through his Safer West Mercia Plan to build a more secure West Mercia.

PCC John Campion said: “After the success of last year’s summer events, I’m looking forward to meeting more people over the next few months. As your voice in policing, I want to hear about your policing priorities.

“I am committed to ensuring you are part of the conversation so it would be great to understand your experiences, views and confidence in West Mercia Police. Please say hello if you are planning to come along and I look forward to speaking with many of you there.”
