In this week’s clip, PCC John Campion is focusing on the action being taken by West Mercia Police to tackle crime in town centres.

Currently developing his new police and crime plan which will form the blueprint for West Mercia Police over the next four years, more than 140 of you sent in your thoughts, feelings and priorities as part of the Big Conversation.

In the Big Conversation, the PCC and West Mercia Police’s Temporary Chief Constable discussed plans to tackle matters such as retail crime, anti-social behaviour, drug use and criminal damage, as well as increasing officer visibility and accessibility.

With 10 town centre policing teams being launched across West Mercia by the end of September, Temporary Deputy Chief Constable, Richard Cooper, explains in this clip that the public will see a sizeable difference in the targeted approach to crime in town centres.
