The West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion has commended police officers, staff and members of the public in Herefordshire who went above and beyond to help others.

Attending the Herefordshire Commendation Awards held at Hereford Town Hall last Thursday (9th February), John met with a number of individuals who were being honoured.

Commissioner John Campion said “I am always honoured to see and hear how West Mercia Police officers and staff, as well as members of our the public carry out extraordinary acts. I’d like to thank these individuals, and all of those who help to build a safer West Mercia, for all they do for our communities.  These inspirational people have acted selflessly and even putting themselves in danger in order to keep others safe.”
