The West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner has remembered officers who have fallen in the line of duty as part of National Police Memorial Day.

John Campion, accompanied by West Mercia Chief Constable Anthony Bangham attended a service at St Pauls Cathedral in London on Sunday (25th September) to mark the event.

PCC John Campion said “Our police officers do a difficult but extremely valuable job, and it’s important that we take the time to recognise their dedication. My thoughts are with the colleagues, family and friends of anyone who has died in the line of duty. We will remember them and recognise the sacrifice they made.”
