Will my estate strategy meet your needs?

I want to offer everyone who lives and works within the West Mercia area an opportunity to see and comment on my estate strategy, which will take us up to 2026.

In the past, you have told me you want police to be visible, local and easy to access. I have pledged that I will deliver these and other commitments to our communities via my safer West Mercia Plan.

Being your elected custodian of public money is a responsibility I take very seriously. In this strategy, there is a plan in place to ensure that the budget I have allocated to estate and property will help to give you the best and most dynamic policing services now and in future years. This includes working flexibly with partners, including councils and fire services, to create shared facilities which offer long-term best value.

I am among the first police and crime commissioners ever to consult on their estate strategy, and I am doing so because I want local people to have a say in how policing properties and infrastructure are being re-shaped to improve services you receive in the future.

My estate strategy is available on this page, together with an abridged version.

Please let me have your views on my Estate Strategy, by responding to my online survey

You can read the full strategy here and find a short version here.

Survey closes on Friday 29th July 2022
