Community Ambassador

Each county in the West Mercia force area has its own dedicated Community Ambassador who represents the Commissioner. These four individuals act as additional ‘eyes and ears’ for John and ensure community concerns and issues are fed back and dealt with accordingly.

Neighbourhood Watch

If you want to work with your neighbours in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood, find out where your local Neighbourhood Watch group is based here.

Sports Partnership

If you’re looking to get involved in sports and activities in your area, the Sports Partnership for Herefordshire and Worcestershire aims to create more active and healthier counties. Find out more about what they do, and what you can take part in, here.

Community Safety Partnership

The CSP for Herefordshire consists of: Herefordshire Council; Clinical Commissioning Group; West Mercia Police; Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service; Warwickshire and West Mercia; Community Rehabilitation Company; National Probation Service; and West Mercia Youth Offending Service.

The chairs of the safeguarding boards (both adults and children), the chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board and a representative from the Police and Crime Commissioner are also invited to attend meetings.
