  1. How many police stations have closed in your Force Area since 2010?
  2. How many front counters have closed in your Force Area since 2010?

Please see the below response to your request.

  1. Figures from 2008 to 2012 are not held by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. At the start of 2013 there were 53 Police Stations, Safer Neighbourhood Offices and Divisional Headquarters within West Mercia Police.

  1. Figures from 2008 to 2012 are not held by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. Figures relating to numbers of Stations, SNT Offices and Divisional Headquarters are set out in Q1. In respect of Front Counter facilities at the start of 2013 there were 43 front counter facilities in total within West Mercia Police.

2013 – 16 were closed
2014 – 21 were closed
2015 – 2022 no closures.

The PCC will aim to deal with your complaint within 10 working days. If you are dissatisfied with the response you can ask for the matter to be internally reviewed. Internal reviews will be completed promptly and a response given to you within 20 working days of your further request.
