Request
- A number of our listeners across the country have been concerned with police stations closing
in their local community, and I was wondering if you might be able to send me the number of
West Mercia stations that were open in 2010 and the number that are currently open?
I would also appreciate any further information to explain why certain stations have closed.

Please see the below response to your request.
- Figures from 2010 to 2012 are not held by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner. At
the start of 2013 there were 53 Police Stations, Safer Neighbourhood Offices and Divisional
Headquarters within West Mercia Police.
