A varied programme of events this summer will see Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion and his team visiting communities across West Mercia.

After visiting the open day at Bromsgrove Police Station on Saturday 6 July, the PCC and his team will be putting up a stall and talking to residents about their concerns and local issues at more events this summer.

The programme of events for 2024 includes:

  • Bromsgrove Carnival – Saturday 13 July
  • Much Marcle Steam Rally (Herefordshire) – Saturday 20 July
  • Oswestry Show – Saturday 3 August
  • Telford Police Open Day – Sunday 15 September

PCC John Campion said: “As your voice in policing, I am always keen to speak to local communities to greater understand their priorities.

“I am currently developing my new police and crime plan, setting the blueprint for West Mercia Police over the next four years, and it’s my commitment to have the public’s voice at its heart.

“Please say hello to myself and my team if you are planning to come along, I look forward to speaking with many of you there.”
