PCC Grants Scheme- Current Grants

Grant Funded Projects

As well as the funding that the Police and Crime Commissioner provides to victim services, he also provides grant funding directly to organisations, and via Community Safety Partnerships (CSPs) to a range of projects, which are serving to support West Mercia’s communities.  The West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner’s grants scheme was first introduced in 2013 and since then has served to support West Mercia’s communities.

Commissioning

There are some projects and outcomes which will need to be commissioned over the coming years. These projects are normally those with larger budget allocations, often those which are tied up in multi-funding arrangements with partner agencies, and those projects which the PCC has a statutory responsibility to provide. Key projects which have been recently commissioned and some which will be commissioned in the future include:

  • Support for victims of crime
  • Independent Domestic Violence Advisors
  • Independent Sexual Violence Advisors
  • Support for victims of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE)
  • Drug Intervention Programmes
