John Campion has launched a new improved, more engaging, website for communities across the West Mercia area.

The Commissioner felt the previous website did not offer the most user-friendly experience, with a lack of community content and key information sometimes difficult to find. The new site is more cost effective and has been designed to be easier to navigate with important information presented in a transparent way.

It includes more community content with updates on the Commissioner’s work specifically in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and Worcestershire. It also outlines the PCC’s ‘Safer West Mercia’ vision, with details of how that will be achieved and how communities can contribute to it.

Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion said “I promised that as Commissioner I would engage with local communities to understand their needs. I promised I would deliver better value for public money. I promised I would be transparent in the work I do and decisions I make. This new website helps me deliver on all those promises. I feel it looks good and actually represents a financial saving. I hope people will take the time to have a look and get in touch.”
