FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 – INFORMATION REQUEST

Request

In recent discussions with other likeminded people, we would like information regarding employees of the Office for Police and Crime Commissioner, (not the Force).

  • Apart from the Commissioner himself, how many are employed in the OPCC?
  • What are the roles of each employee?
  • What is the total cost of the OPCC on an annual basis?
  • Does the cost of running the OPCC come directly from the budget for West Mercia Police
  • Who is the OPCC accountable to?

Response:

  • We are refusing this part of your request in-line with Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act- Information reasonably accessible by other means. The team information for the OPCC, can be found on the West Mercia PCC website: Team Information – West Mercia Police Crime Commissioner.
  • No, the funding for the OPCC West Mercia does not come from the West Mercia Police budget; Information on PCC funding can be found online.

Yours Sincerely,

FOI Officer,
